The great Coco Chanel once said, “Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance,” and indeed, less is definitely more when it comes to the Chanel brand’s signature neutral tones.
In this Coco Chanel-inspired setup, black, white, taupe, beige and gold were the perfect accompaniments to the decorative elements of clear bottles, pearls and gilded textures. Acrylic gilded paint applied to the inside of oyster shells made for beautiful place card holders, and an interesting art deco twist completed the minimalist, timeless yet modern look.
The final touch to ensuring that everything looked absolutely perfect was the right venue – InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s ballroom and lobby looked amazing dressed in shades of taupe, beige, silver and gold.
All of the concepts and stylings for this shoot were brought to life by The Wedding Notebook Magazine, except for the flowers, which were by Spring Cottage. Many thanks to Ndrew Photography for capturing all the beautiful details.
