Dreamy And Romantic Bridal Portraits In France

They say Paris is the City of Love, but the whole of France is perfect for lovers really. These lavender fields are truly romantic, like a picture on a postcard, and together with the sunset made for the perfect moment. Weaving through the cobblestone lanes of Paris and exploring the city’s classic architecture, the newlyweds not only captured their love but also what the city had to offer.

Synchronal Photography: “We spent a few days with this sweet couple in France, roaming the quaint rues and avenues of Paris, and had a little adventure down south along the winding roads in Provence. There, we witnessed the most amazing sunset while running in the lavender fields of Valensole, and also explored some lovely medieval villages in the Provençal countryside.”

Geometric Shapes Met Vintage Glam For This Wedding At Glasshouse At Seputeh

This wedding was the perfect mix of simple and grand, old and new, vintage and glamour. The couple even had the cutest hashtag to go with it – #soyawedscincau! From the bride’s wedding dress, which looked simple from the front but was dramatic and breathtaking from the back, to the reception, just about everything was truly a sight to behold.

The colour theme of maroon certainly set the tone, making the celebration romantic, mysterious and dreamy all at the same time, and we love that ingenious table arrangement idea! Many thanks to Anna-Rina Photography for capturing (and sharing) such a lovely set of photos.

A Simple Rustic Outdoor Wedding Away From The City

Exposed wooden beams strung with fairy lights and wide glass windows that looked out onto a forest of pine trees made for a romantic and rustic wedding venue indeed. These newlyweds exchanged their vows outdoors before the reception, and we especially love the pinecones and leaves for the tablescapes, as well as that naked cake! Many thanks to Shepherd Portraiture for this dreamy set of photos.

A White On White Wedding At Dara Ayu Villas, Ubud

Photo by Gusmank Wedding Photography. www.theweddingnotebook.com

Small, intimate weddings are perfect for a couple to personalise – from the guests to the décor and the way they choose to celebrate their union. For these newlyweds, their wedding felt like a real party, from the moment they exchanged their vows overlooking the gorgeous paddy fields of Bali right through to dancing the night away with their friends.

The bride looked absolutely resplendent in her lengha and white bridal gown, and the all-white décor certainly set an elegant tone, especially against that backdrop. Many thanks to Gusmank Wedding Photography for capturing these beautiful, sunny photos.

A Lush Tropical Wedding in Tamarind Springs

Photo by Harvard Wang Photography. www.theweddingnotebook.com

Rain just might be the perfect accompaniment to your wedding, especially if your celebration is set amidst a verdant jungle on a sultry day. For this bridal couple, rain meant a pair of classic black umbrellas to match the tropical backdrop, rustic wooden textures, lush foliage and sunny smiles all round.

Their wardrobe was suitably relaxed: the bride wore a gown with a detachable train while the groom was folksy in a teal vest, beryl pants and rolled-up sleeves. Above them, glass bulbs adorned the timber beams of a pavilion, and in the night, the warm lights burned intensely. Here’s to a wedding that popped with so much colour, and a toast to Harvard Wang for these beautiful photos!

Sweet Bohemian Bridal Portraits At Pantai Klebang Sand Dunes In Malacca

Bridal portraits at Pantai Klebang, Malacca. Peter Herman Photography. www.theweddingnotebook.com

Set against the perfect backdrop of clear blue skies and sandy dunes that resembled a blank canvas, these bridal portraits made excellent use of the wonderful space. With a sweet lace dress and flowers in her hair for her and suspenders for him, the newlyweds went barefoot for a relaxed, bohemian vibe. We love the floral details here, from the décor to the bride’s anklets – what a dreamy touch! Thanks to Peter Herman Photography for these.

A Sunny Lakeside Wedding In Lake Como

Oh, we couldn’t help but let out a dreamy sigh! Lake Como is the perfect setting for a fairytale wedding – from the gorgeous pops of yellow florals and the glittering lake in the background against the picturesque mountains to the ivy-covered classic Italian architecture. We love the bride’s romantic arrival by rowboat, and of course, the newlyweds’ unmistakable looks of love for each other. Many thanks to Rossini Studio for capturing this great occasion!

Glam Meets Grunge In This Gritty, Steamy Bridal Photoshoot

Gold sequins and black leather dance in a dingy corridor lit by green tinged fluorescent tubes. She is a gilded diva, he is a bad boy and rocker, and right here, in the grittiness of it all, they have eyes only for each other. Stylistically unconventional, this is a couple who is not afraid to live life with passion and verve. A huge shout out to 50nfifty Productions for sending along such a unique set of photos!

Breezy, Laid-Back Wedding In Cove 55, Sarawak

Henry Golding and Liv Lo wedding. Photo by Andy Phe Photography. www.theweddingnotebook.com

Classy meets casual in this radiant, tender wedding held in Santubong, Sarawak, amidst a setting of lush greens and white roses. Henry was sharp and dapper in a lapis blue suit while Liv glowed and sparkled in a stunning barebacked gown. The atmosphere was soft and relaxed yet splashed in glamour and style.

As the rose-covered letters of their initials reflected off the water of a nearby pool, delicate flowers and fairy lights danced in the night in a wash of heliotrope. The stately colonial architecture of Cove 55 was also the perfect enchanting backdrop to the Iban Ngajat dancers and this beautiful couple’s whimsically Malaysian alfresco reception. Hats off to Andy Phe Photography for a job very well done!

A Union Of Two Cultures At Le Meridian Kuala Lumpur

For Matthew and Yasuho, tying the knot after being together for almost a decade was a momentous and meaningful celebration indeed. The solemnisation ceremony was a classic affair, held in Le Meridian’s rooftop glasshouse. The abundance of natural light made the colour palette of navy and white really stand out in the photos and video.

To highlight the union of their different cultures, Yasuho wore a ‘furisode’, a type of kimono only single women are allowed to wear, complete with a stunning floral headpiece of white hydrangeas and baby’s breath. We absolutely love the whole look! For her walk in, she chose to wear a ‘cheongsam’ to represent her husband’s culture and heritage, as well as to symbolise her merging into his family. She also hand-folded hundreds of ‘orizuru’ (paper cranes) for each guest as part of the wedding favours!

Edwin Tan Photography. www.theweddingnotebook.com

As the song goes, love and marriage go together like a horse and carriage… These bridal portraits resemble a breathtaking editorial where the bride and groom have stepped into their own fairytale to live happily ever after. Complete with a resplendent ball gown and sparkly tiara for the bride, and a sharp suit for the dashing groom, they truly were a vision to behold.
