We love the simplicity of this wedding pulled together by Wedding Boutique Phuket, from the gilded geometric elements and the lush leaves and florals to the pops of white and glamourous touches. The best thing about this soiree was that it was very true to the bride and groom. At the end of the day, it resonated with who they were as a couple, and they managed to celebrate the best moments of their big day with their loved ones: with speeches, dancing and so much love. Many thanks to Ameirfikri Photography for capturing all the joy, laughter and delight.

Emily: “I really loved our first look. I had been a little anxious about everything, and a little overwhelmed with the photographer there (I’m not used to having my picture taken like that)! But when I tapped Matt on the shoulder and he turned around, I saw his face, and he held me and told me I looked beautiful. I felt instantly better and I stopped worrying about everything else. I also loved the toasts: my dad’s, my maid of honour’s, and Matt’s best man – hearing what they all had to say really moved me, and I am so grateful for everything they contributed and gave. Lastly, my 85-year-old grandma on the dance floor dancing to Cardi B… that is a moment I will never forget!

“I really wanted a modern theme that incorporated the surroundings of the venue. The pops of gold metallics and high contrast black added elegance, while the pampas grass and the circular wedding arch made the overall feel a little more organic. It couldn’t be so fancy that my guests wouldn’t want to jump into the Villa Aye infinity pool after! Mostly, the overall theme and style just felt very ‘me’. I loved everything about it.”
