A Beautiful DIY Church Wedding in Kuala Lumpur

Jessielyee Photography. www.theweddingnotebook.com

Tying the knot in their church gave these newlyweds more than just sentimental value; it was also the perfect venue for their minimalist DIY wedding. The exposed brick wall was the perfect backdrop, and all they needed to add were flowers and plenty of joy and love. The bride even opted to make all that greenery the main element of the décor. We love how everything looked so effortlessly pulled together. Many thanks to Jessielyee. Photography for this beautiful set of photos!

Bridal Portraits at W Kuala Lumpur in Celebration of Engaged High School Sweethearts

Jackie Yong Photography. www.theweddingnotebook.com

Our hearts are warmed every time we come across a story of high school sweethearts making it to the “Yes, I do”. This lovely couple attended school together for five years before falling in love on the prom night of their final year. And now, with the groom-to-be having proposed on the anniversary of their courtship, plans for their Big Day are underway. Talk about amazing! Thank you for these memorable captures, Jackie Yong Photography.

Instead of the usual wedding décor themes, this couple is going to centre their theme on values such as support, loyalty and love. Through their wedding concept, they plan to reveal their roles in their relationship, tapping into abstract terms such as nature, soul and entity. We’re inspired by their interesting vision for their wedding, and of course, their romance.

Bridal Portraits Shot at Cactus Country, Australia

Photo by Louis Gan Photography. www.theweddingnotebook.com

It’s been proven time and time again – all you really need for a great set of bridal portraits are a willing couple and the expertise of a remarkable photographer. Also, we just love the display of nature in these images. Thank you for these, Louis Gan Photography!

Cactus Country is home to over 4,000 species of cacti and succulents from around the world. The couple is clearly in love with the assorted shapes and sizes of these plants, which provided them with plenty of different shots. The concentration of plants also saved them time that they would have otherwise needed to travel to different locations.

A Classic Yet Rustic Wedding at Amaryllis Boutique Resort, Ciawi

Inside a glass ceilinged chapel flooded with natural light, and decked out with lots of white flowers and lush greenery, these newlyweds exchanged their vows in the company of some of their closest friends and family. Choosing muted tones, the groomsmen wore grey suits while the bridesmaids looked resplendent in blue-gray lace kebayas. Lace was a defining texture, together with the wooden fixings. What a beautiful wedding, wonderfully captured by Iluminen.
