Moody Yet Sensual Beach Bridal Portraits

You don’t need a glorious destination or stunning landscape to capture the feelings of two people in love. Simply strip away the bright lights and beautiful backdrop, and zoom in on the couple. These bridal portraits from Smittenpixels Photography clearly show the main object of Alexandria and Ian’s love and affection: each other. An Artistic and Dreamy Film Bridal Photoshoot in Batu Pahat, Johor

At first glance, these bridal portraits look like they are straight out of a Japanese countryside. There’s a forgotten quality of film photography that is only achieved in digital photos with edits or filters these days. This styled photoshoot that was shot with a Kodak Portra400 and Canon Eos55 created the perfect dreamy vibe for this couple, and one would never have guessed that it was done right here in Batu Pahat, Johor! It’s amazing what a little creative styling and an old-fashioned film camera can do. Many thanks to Rayson Lo and Yandha Goh of Sanren Studio for this wonderful set of photos. Sweet and Dreamy Bridal Portraits in Bandung, Indonesia

From casual to artsy, these bridal portraits certainly captured a spectrum of looks. With its foggy meadows and the delightful addition of grazing deer, Bandung proved to be a most beautiful backdrop, but the team also opted for portraits in an urban setting, goofing off as they played with light and shadow effects. Many thanks to Zakhri Harahap of Sheerss Photography for this set of photos! Nature-Filled Engagement Portraits in the Hidden Gem that is Bako National Park, Sarawak

Inspired by this couple’s love for the outdoors, filled with sentimentality and untouched beauty, these engagement portraits perfectly capture the artistry of Mother Nature. Shot on an island that is part of Bako National Park, the fine sand beaches, dramatic granite rocks and exposed tree roots formed the most spectacular backdrop. We love the bride-to-be’s super chic outfit as well – a slouchy white suit jacket with a maxi skirt and wide-brimmed hat. Many thanks to Andy Phe Photography for this breathtaking set of photos! Colourful and Artsy Bridal Portraits At ArtScience Museum, Singapore

The ‘Future World: Where Art Meets Science’ exhibition by teamLab at ArtScience Museum has certainly made its rounds on social media, and we love how these newlyweds took it one step further by making it part of their bridal portraits. The bright and joyful digital playground served as a great backdrop for the couple to mark the beginning of their new chapter. Many thanks to Andri Tei Photography for capturing these beautiful shots!

A Colourful Twist On Traditional Bridal Portraits In Malacca

We love weddings that incorporate elements of traditional Malay and Chinese attire, such as batik and the kwa, and we especially love the way this couple took those elements and gave it a refreshing, modern twist! The individual touches throughout, like pairing the long sarong-like skirts with sneakers, were subtle yet significant, allowing the lovebirds to put their own stamp on the bridal portraits. Another element that is uniquely 2020: the face mask! Set against the fun backdrop of Malacca, the bride’s curious take on her hairstyles, from Dutch braids to twin buns, really completed the look. Many thanks to Jens Kv Photography for this set of bridal portraits!

A Raw Play on Neutrals for Bridal Portraits in Port Klang

We really like this album for several reasons. The shoot location in Port Klang has a raw edge about it that gives this couple’s bridal portraits such a kick – if you will – and we reckon it will inspire other couples to think out of the box for their own shoots. Thank you for these brilliant shots, Kane.CY Photography! Probably one of the most notable things about this is the couple’s choice of non-traditional, neutral outfits. We certainly appreciate the way this reflects the bride’s personality – tough and independent. We have to say, the black, white and orange palette is simply spot on. When it comes to bridal…

Capturing The Best of Petaling Street For Bridal Portraits in Kuala Lumpur

This couple had a blast shooting their bridal portraits in the hot and humid surrounds of Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur. We love the candid shots, and seeing how relaxed and loving they were. It’s no wonder that Petaling Street is such a popular photography destination, especially for Malaysians who want to capture the local flavour right in their very own backyard. Kudos to Sharkman Photography for these wonderful shots. They wanted “a casual day out” as their album theme, and their intuitive photographer was able to deliver just that – a beautiful series of photographs filled with loving interactions between the couple in their home country. Just look at the…
