This 1940s-inspired conceptual shoot is such a feast for the eyes. We love every detail, including the Coke bottles, bowling pins, flowers, and how the pretty calligraphy tags adorned the whole place. One can sit here for hours and not want the day to end.

This is a brilliant idea for an engagement party or bridal shower, photographed by Krista Mason Photography. Thanks, Lina from A Stunning Affair, for sharing this with us.

Lina: “For Coca Cola lovers, we decided to create a beverage station featuring Coke, Diet Coke and Cherry Coke, and pair them with cherries, lemons and lime to go with the picnic menu. We also thought it would be fun to complement them with Kettle Chips and popcorn in a variety of flavours.

“For the main table, we had a picnic-style table and chairs with a green and white gingham runner. The beautiful floral arrangements, featuring billy balls, ranunculas, hydrangeas and roses, were placed in vintage tins and were by Peony & Plum. The table number tags were calligraphed by Calligraphy Katrina and attached to bowling pins to tie our look together.

“All the vintage rentals were provided by Jeni from Found Vintage Rentals. She has the most amazing selection of vintage items to create the perfect look for your wedding. Meanwhile, a game of croquet made for the perfect afternoon reception pastime.

“The typewriter was for the guests to leave love notes to the newlyweds. The notes were put into a vintage mailbox and mailed to the couple after the wedding. Everything, from the vintage basket weave to the vintage cake topper and cake itself by Fantasy Frostings, was a treat.”
