Wishing Tree recently created a dreamy, romantic look for Michelle and Bernard. The dinner reception was held at Zamrud Rood at The Club SaujanaT. It is a rather old space, with dark wood walls and floors, and dark blue carpets that they could not remove. See how Wishing Tree transformed the place into a quiet, romantic space for the couple, using a blue and white palette as requested by the bride.

Wishing Tree: “We made pomanders from white chrysanthemums and hung them on the white chiavari chairs. To add more texture and interest to the pomanders, we used white dahlias with stems still attached, wild berries and nosa.

“With the lights turned down and the glow from the candles warming the ambience, the reception became one romantic evening. Balls of baby’s breath and blue hydrangeas arranged at varying heights on long-stemmed holders, surrounded by lower vases of white roses, white dahlias and white eustoma looked simply magical amongst the candles and silver moss.

“Instead of lots of flowers on the tables, we used blooms that were heavy with texture and added visual interest to the arrangements with various glassware, moss, beads and candles. This is something that you can definitely try to recreate on your own!”
