Photographed in the parklands of Sanctuary Lakes in Point Cook, Melbourne, this photoshoot is refreshing yet dreamy and romantic. Thanks for sharing this lovely set of photos with us, Ruffles & Bells, they were indeed beautifully captured by Qlix Photography.
Jay Cao of Qlix Photography: “The inspiration for this shoot was a result of the many ideas from the vendors involved. Eventually, we narrowed it down to the one thing we wanted to do, and that was reinvent the colours and mood of Jose Villa, summarised by a rustic bridal editorial shoot with a fresh colour palette of yellows, whites and greens.
“We all knew that Villa’s styling and use of lighting and details encapsulate a trend that Australian brides are often inspired by when planning their weddings. And we wanted to remind those brides-to-be that we have homegrown talents that can make their dream wedding day come true.
“The shoot began on the morning of a sunny autumn day, with our model Esma Voloder wearing gowns from one of Australia’s top wedding dress designers, Anna Campbell. The location showcased Australia’s native coastline, and we shot Voloder in four of Campbell’s dresses to highlight their impeccable style and detail.
“Ruffles & Bells put together the mood board that encapsulated every detail of the shoot, and also provided the props and crockery for the setting together with Paper & Style Co. who specially designed the invitations as well. Le and Fothergill provided the flowers, while The Dessert Parlour provided the desserts, naked cakes and lovely jars of fruits.”
