In case you haven’t noticed, the greenery theme has taken 2017 by storm. This affordable, totally achievable look is easily tweaked, whether for a romantic feel, tropical flavour, or chic look. It is eco friendly and timeless, which makes us wonder why we didn’t think of it sooner! The secret to pulling off this theme is to use a good variation of greens for texture, exactly like how these guys did it for this styled shoot.

Irene Darmawan of Pepper Suite: “We chose Noah’s Barn Coffeenery in Bandung for its potential in hosting small and intimate events, as well as its good food. This mini project was birthed during a casual discussion with Andre and Agnes from FIRE, WOOD & EARTH. We didn’t have big expectations for it; we were just so happy to be able to work with the many vendors involved, and could not have asked for a better result.

“The dress was costumed by Verena Mia, and is a cropped lace top style with two different skirts so that brides can change their look for the reception. The flowy design is perfect for an outdoor or country themed wedding. Besides the bridal look, we also had a flower girl look that was costumed by Shierly Joediarta – a simple white dress that is designed to be airy and comfortable. Our little model didn’t want to take off the dress after the shoot because she loved wearing it so much!

Debora Natalia was the stylist behind the natural makeup and hairdo, where she used leaves instead of flowers. You may want to steal this look for a Roman or Grecian inspired theme. The hand bouquet and flower crown were provided courtesy of Irene from Pretty Wildflowers, and featured eucalyptus, white scabiosa and lillium flowers. The aim was to make the bouquet look like a bunch of flowers you had just picked from the garden.

“This styled shoot incorporated several different décor ideas. The combination of hanging leaves, gold accents, and details is great for a wedding ceremony setup, while the wooden table paired with cross-backed wooden chairs and decorated with leaves and small white flowers is understated and perfect for a bridal table setup. As for the photobooth, or some might call it a photo corner, we used gold frames and added leaves for a natural touch.

“Finally, to complete the look, we approached Putri from Prestige Details to come up with a stationery design that would go with this theme. We were really pleased with the results – the fonts, design of the invitations, menu and place cards, as well as the sample favours were all in line with our theme for this photoshoot.”
