Except for the stationary buff, most couples do away with traditional invitations and opt for digital ones. Besides it being cost saving, it is also more convenient, not to mention sustainable. Here are some online sites you can use to design your own e-invite.

PAPERLESS POST

Paperless Post is an online stationery site that allows users to send personalised cards, invitations and announcements. There are thousands of templates for you to choose from, and various personalisation options like upload image and logo, envelopes, envelope liners, stamps and postmarks. Upon signing up for a Paperless Account, you will get 30 coins. For additional coins, prices start at USD5.00 for 25 coins. Paperless Post is also available on iTunes.
PRO: One of our favourites because it has a lot of good quality designs. The vast array of templates are a life-saver for the less design savvy individual.
CON: There is a delivery cost for these cards.

EVITE

Evite has been the market leader in online invitations since 1998. They have quite a few good designs all for free. Definitely a good place to start sending e-invites. It has since launched its premium online invitations service called Evite Postmark, which offers higher quality stylish designs, customisable designs in a user-friendly environment, and an advertising-free interface.
PRO: You can test everything out before signing in. Very user-friendly, and it comes with an RSVP list.

RED STAMP

Red Stamp has been featured in the New York Times, The Today Show and many more. One of the most versatile e-card services in the market, it allows you to send your cards via email, mobile phone message, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The best part is that it’s free, although there are also premium e-cards that can be purchased through the app.
PRO: It makes designing a card seem effortless. It also allows you to send your cards via various platforms.
CON: Very limited designs but suitable for simple, small functions like Save The Date, Bridal Shower Party and Thank You Notes. Not available on Android.

APPY COUPLE

An all-in-one wedding app that you can use from your engagement right up to your wedding day. Once the couple has created their app, they can share it with their guests. Appy Couple will allow the couple to send invites, manage their RSVPs, and send updates to their guests. The best part is guests can also upload photos to the app, which allows them to participate in the couple’s wedding.
PRO: An all-in-one app that is available on Google Play and iTunes. Allows guest participation.
CON: Cost USD12 per month and USD49 a year, but your guests can download the app for free.

Canva

It’s likely that you’ve used Canva before. It’s user friendly and has lots of free gorgeous designs to choose from. Need we say more?
PRO: Download your e-invites easily and you’ll be able to share it on social media with a click of a button.
CON: It’s popular so chances are your e-invite could have been seen before.
