Simple yet elegant with romantic personal touches, the quiet glamour of this special day was all in the details. From the textures on the bride’s dress and veil to the beautiful floral choices, all set against an Art Deco-inspired backdrop, it’s no wonder this couple (and their guests) were all smiles. Many thanks to Smittenpixels Photography for this sweet set of photos.
Irish: “We enjoyed our second march-in the most as it was very fun. We had tequila shots with our guests while we danced in to the song ‘Built to Last’. We wanted our wedding to be classy, elegant and romantic. The colour theme was cream, lilac and a touch of green. Everything from our wedding invites to the floral arrangements and décor were designed around this. Also, with our intimate wedding party, we wanted to ensure that there were personal touches across all the elements. We displayed handwritten name tags (lovingly drawn by yours truly), customised wedding scents for the ballroom, and also had coffee cups designed with our initials.”
Tips from the bride: “Do start your planning early and create folders to organise all your wedding inspiration. It really helps to have a moodboard to consolidate all the different elements you’ve envisioned for your wedding. Shortlist the wedding vendors you like and meet them in person, as it is important to have good chemistry with the people you’re working with. The day will zoom by, so it is essential that you capture the beautiful memories in photos and videos! Get a relaxing spa treatment in the days leading up to the wedding, enjoy yourself, and things will all fall into place beautifully.”
