Jeremy and Wen Min’s love story started ten years ago at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, literally a few hours before Jeremy left Malaysia for UK to pursue his studies. Their connection continued to grow stronger despite the distance, and when it was Wen Min’s turn to leave for her Law Degree a year after, both of them acknowledged that they were in the same wavelength with the goal of the relationship – to get married to each other. After 9 years of relationship, the couple finally tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor wedding at K’Seena House, a traditional house with a vast lawn in Kuala Lumpur.

It was a huge advantage for the couple that the groom has an extensive network of wedding vendors and access to some of the latest venues for weddings and events, as he is a wedding photographer himself. When a wedding client booked Jeremy for a wedding photoshoot in K’Seena House, he realized that the space would make the perfect venue for his own wedding. The 100-year-old heritage home’s 24,000 square feet garden was simply breathtaking, with lush greenery and shady trees, allowing the couple to create a unique seating arrangement for their guests. The wide semi-circle layout provided an intimate setting for their vow exchange, with nature serving as the perfect backdrop for their special day.

The soundtracks from the film Guardians of The Galaxy were played throughout the event, the couple’s idea to weave in some personal touch into the event as they recalled their first ever movie they watched together in their earlier days of dating. They both described their wedding decor as something minimalistic and neat, ‘intentional’, to put it simply. Wen Min and Jeremy welcomed their 170 guests with a full white décor done by their wedding decorator slash wedding industry friend, The Wedding Elf. Upon entering the venue, guests were greeted with the minimal but sophisticatedly done white décor consisted of fresh Mathiola, Roses, Eustomas and the fresh scented classic Eucalyptus.

Synchronising their outfits, the bride wore a tailored-fit minimalist tube dress that complemented her lean figure perfectly. She completed her look with a custom-made a veil dotted with fresh pearls. Jeremy on the other hand, donned a complementary suit from 19th Stitch. “I only had to describe that my wedding will be done outdoor, and the put together the entire look for me, which I found to be perfect,” the groom explained. He wore a tailored-made suit in a unique tone in between a shade of olive green-brown, paired with a tie with a shade of army green.

Reflecting on their special day, Wen Min and Jeremy shared some of the moments that left a lasting impression on their minds. They expressed deep gratitude for the beautiful and meaningful day they had shared with friends and family. From their vantage point at the altar, they were moved to see faces of people they had known from all walks of life coming together in tranquil moments that they will always cherish.

“Not a single person seated was someone we did not know. We can even still remember vividly every face present that day. It’s just so meaningful to see our nearest and dearest,” the couple added.

Coincidentally, their wedding date fell on the groom’s 29th birthday and Wen Min had arranged much earlier some surprises for her newly-wedded husband. It was also one of the most memorable parts of the day for the couple. As they reminisced about their wedding planning journey, Jeremy and Wen Min emphasized the importance of open communication and joint-decision making. While Wen Min paid attention to the details, Jeremy took care of the big picture. Their collaboration ensured that every aspect of the wedding was a reflection of their love and commitment to each other. From the carefully selected vendors to the thoughtfully designed décor, every detail represented the purity, intentionality, and authenticity that define their relationship.
