We are falling in love with the wedding scene in the Philippines. Here’s a bohemian-themed wedding with a fun spectrum of colours that is filled with personal touches and yet is elegant.

We adore the Polaroid seating cards featuring photos of famous on- and off-screen couples. And did we mention that the bride is Gizelle, one of the main forces behind Cuckoo Cloud Concepts? This wedding, carefully framed and presented by Marlon Capuyan Photography, will definitely light up a mundane week.

Gizelle: “I have always injected a little boho into my life despite being in the city. When I met Harry, he was a bit uptight. Over the years, we’ve influenced each other and have learned to live more freely, hence our bohemian-themed wedding. Not being able to decide on the colours, we decided to take inspiration from the peacock and use a plethora of colours.

“One of the most memorable moments was when I walked down the aisle to Queen’s ‘Somebody to Love’ played by a violin, and Harry was waiting for me at the end, with a big smile. At that moment, I felt like everything fell into place and the start of our life together began. The second moment was when we entered the reception area and Harry and I were laughing as our guests cheered us on, and he did the twist, as promised!”

Tips from the bride: “Even when you want to do some DIY for your wedding, you should still invest in an effective and experienced coordinator to help you through the process of planning. Your wedding day should be your day and should be as stress free as possible.”
