We were enthralled by this beautiful blush and navy wedding at Enderong Resort and Tanarimba Janda Baik, Pahang. These stunning images bear testament to the popularity of this wedding venue, which isn’t without reason. Thank you for this amazing album, MunKeat Photography!

The joy on everyone’s faces is palpable. We love the thought that had been put into the colour scheme and details, all of which were obviously planned carefully and diligently beforehand so that the couple could have a worry-free wedding day.

The bride shared: “Amongst my most memorable moments were the first look at the Enderong Resort poolside. I remember walking down to the pool in my five-inch heels, and trying to recall why we decided to do this. But that moment was priceless, as Tharma had never seen me in my wedding gown, and his expression was worth it. We also had a moment to read the cards we gave each other, and it was then that the reality of the day hit. Exchanging our vows before our closest friends and family was a treasured memory, as every one of them had made the effort to come all the way to celebrate the special day with us.”

As a weekend getaway destination with their guests, Tanarimba was the ideal centre point between the couple’s respective hometowns of Kuala Lumpur and Kuantan. Despite their busy careers, they had fun creating the wedding invitations and “messing with the wax seal”. “We chose navy blue and blush as our main colours, and everything else was added to suit them. Decorations were handled by Pretty Little Things, and were well executed and within our budget.”

Tips from the bride: “Set a budget at the start of the wedding planning and be accountable to someone who will ensure that you stick to it. Along the way, you’ll be tempted to spend on more extravagant stuff, so prioritise and scale back on other things. Be prepared to hear the words ‘once in a lifetime’. That single line will cause you to make irrational decisions. Don’t be shy to ask your married friends for their recommendations. Their experience with vendors is as important as the reviews you read online. There are so many to choose from, so personal recommendations were very important to us.

“Throughout the planning process, Pinterest was a central point of reference for ideas, from decorations to hair and makeup. There were also other online resources like Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks, Wedding Wire, etc. The Wedding Notebook and The Wedding Scoop were good guides on getting started, and gave us an idea of suitable vendors and what we needed.”
