It’s no surprise that BERTA’s Winter 2014 collection was inspired by the Western Europe of the 15th and 16th centuries; even the photoshoot for the collection took place in an ancient villa from the 16th century in Northern Italy. Combining the use of complex fabrics, long sleeves and dramatic long trains with the sensuality BERTA’s designs are well known for – plunging necklines, open backs and figure hugging silhouettes – the Winter 2014 collection is indeed a true celebration of femininity, an avant-garde collection that is romantic, sexy and classy, with a distinctive vintage touch.
