These lovely bridal portraits, celebrating the couple’s roots, made us smile. Her parents are from Chinatown, and together, the bride- and groom-to-be own a farming wholesale business. We love this album, which was shot in history-rich Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur and scenic Sekinchan, Kuala Selangor. Thanks for sharing these brilliant shots, Jessielyee. Photography!

She was clad in a beautiful oriental gown from Love Gown, while he was dapper in a black suit. Amidst the colonial ambience of Chinatown, they delighted in each other’s company as their photographer clicked away. It was truly a beautiful day to be out, and you could just imagine their parents’ pleasure and nostalgia upon viewing the album.

Later on, the couple headed over to Sekinchan for the second part of their shoot, where the bride looked both authentic and exquisite in her long-sleeved wedding gown. Their background in farming gave this part of the album a depth that was especially meaningful and memorable, and no doubt these images will be enjoyed for generations to come. Shared Jessielyee Photography: “We were lucky to be there during the harvest season. We were able to capture the marvellous sight of dry paddy fields, and even a glimpse of the golden sunset beyond the corn fields.”
