A Dreamy Dusty Pink Evening Wedding With Fairy Lights in Singapore

Juanmoley Fotologue. www.theweddingnotebook.com

We love the contrarian route this couple took – firstly, by choosing to have their ceremony in the evening, with the bride walking in at sunset; and secondly, by using dried flowers and leaves, save for the pops of dusty pink. The timing made all the difference as the newlyweds said their vows underneath a majestic tree covered in beautiful fairy lights, surrounded by 50 of their friends and family. Thanks to Hellofrom flour for this dreamy setup, and Juanmoley Fotologue for this lovely set of photos!

Farron: “My most memorable moment was during the solemnisation, when Jasmine and I were having our own little side conversation during the celebrant’s speech. It was a nice moment of reconnection for us.”

Jasmine: “My most memorable moment was the secret letter reading. Farron treated it as a competition and wrote a poem for me. It made me laugh so hard that his phone fell onto the floor.

“We’re not really sure what our wedding theme was. We just wanted the colours to be as muted as possible, except for the dusty pink. I wanted lots of plants but I also wanted them to look dried out. Even my bouquet was made up of dried and dead plants.

“We chose Wheeler’s Estate because of its outdoor solemnisation area. We wanted the wedding to be dark with minimal ambience lighting, to create a more romantic and cosy feeling. We’re super thankful that it didn’t rain that night.”

Tips from the bride: “A la carte is better than packages! We’re glad we didn’t sign up for any packages, as we had the flexibility to choose from different vendors to curate the exact vibe and aesthetic that we had in mind. Also, we were lucky that all our vendors were kind to us, and it wasn’t much of a hassle organising everything. It may have been pricier, but we’re glad we didn’t skimp on the wedding because the outcome was what we wanted.”
