For many men, there will come a time where he’ll have to say these four words to the love of his life – will you marry me? Brandon knew he would have to extensively plan in order to throw Celene off the scent of his proposal, and as the project manager of On Staging, he knew just where to find the perfect spot, a space where he could be creative and build his own stage!

Dripping with dreamy fairy lights and featuring the most beautiful floral touches from HellofromFlour, this “blank box” was transformed into a romantic space for this very special occasion. The entire proposal was captured by Lensofmira, who also took the couple’s impromptu engagement portraits after!

Celene: “He spent a whole week designing and building the stage with the help of his friends. They started pulling together props, stairs, tables and other items to perfect the space.

“On the day, he told me to dress up as we were heading to a nice restaurant. On our way there, his colleague called and said someone had gotten injured, and that Brandon was needed to rush him to the hospital. When we got there, he went inside first before calling and asking me to go in and help with the colleague’s bag. I went inside and ta-da! I was completely surprised by the decorations, stage setup, and the sight of Brandon standing there in his suit and holding a bouquet of flowers.

“He sat me down on a platform in front of the keyboard I had bought him, and started playing the first song he ever played for me, ‘Perfect’. A video of our memories started playing in front of us. He walked me up the stairs and started his speech, but truthfully, all I heard was, ‘Will you marry me?’ I said, ‘Yes!’ It was a truly dreamy proposal and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!”
