With those soft pastel colours and warm wood tones plus that framing backdrop of Mother Nature, we’d never have guessed that these newlyweds actually exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony right in the heart of KL. The lush greenery and traditional white, accented with pops of pink, painted a beautiful picture of their union. Many thanks to MunKeat Photography for this lovely set of photos.

Jazz: “When Danny performed our engagement song (Howie Day’s ‘Collide’) in front of all our friends, it made our wedding as much about our friends and loved ones as it was about us.

“We chose a pastel colour palette as it blended well with nature. We wanted to keep things simple so most of our decorations were done by our friends who were designers and artists. In return, we wanted to give our guests and beloved friends something special and meaningful, so we gave them these Egglings from Japan. We wanted something that they could bring home and put some love into growing.”

Tips from the bride: “Be as decisive as possible! There were lots of decisions to make, from types of decorations to layout arrangements. Having our friends there to help execute this process was possible because we knew what we wanted.”
