This bride didn’t want fresh flowers at all because she wanted something special and long-lasting, so she DIY-ed her own bridal bouquet and the groom’s corsage. For the rest of the décor, Bliss & Glitz conceptualised a travel theme for the couple since they travel a lot together, combining it with the rustic feel that the bride wanted. Thanks, Memoir Click Studio, for sharing this awesome shoot with us.

Sharon: “The most memorable moment for me was when we exchanged our vows in front of all the guests. After 11 years together, through thick and thin, we have finally come to a new chapter of life. My emotions peaked and my tears flowed non-stop when he pledged his vows. His words truly touched the deepest parts of my heart.

“Before we really discussed and planned our wedding, I had imagined my perfect wedding – rustic, intimate and cosy, yet not too formal. During the venue search, our family and friends suggested a number of halls and hotels, but none of them came close to what I had always dreamt of, until I did my research online and found Tanarimba, Janda Baik. I fell in love with this place at first sight and immediately told Scott that this was the perfect venue.

“We wanted something adorable as our wedding favours, and came across the idea of mini honey jars with honey dippers. We ordered custom-made mini honey dippers from the US, and wrapped the cloth and appreciation cards on the jars ourselves. We designed and DIY-ed our wedding invitations to match the rustic theme as well.

“Thanks and well done to Jokee and her partner from coochicoo. They really showcased their best work and the outcome was marvellous. I was totally impressed by their hard work and we received so many compliments from our guests.”

Tips from the bride: “Budget well and do more research online. Planning ahead will minimise mistakes and help you to avoid regrets on your once in a lifetime big day.”
