Kyoto is a very beautiful place, well known for its pristine natural beauty, and you will see many couples, even from other parts of Japan, flocking here to take photos. The local lovebirds often put on their traditional costumes and stroll the streets, whispering and giggling to each other, and you’ll also see couples cycling together or being ferried around by rickshaw.

Though it’s rather crowded during peak season, the overall vibe is still tranquil and peaceful. It’s definitely not hard to capture good photos here, but this snowy scene at Togetsukyo Bridge at Arashimaya, also known as “lovers’ bridge”, is totally the picture perfect moment.
