Small, intimate weddings are perfect for a couple to personalise – from the guests to the décor and the way they choose to celebrate their union. For these newlyweds, their wedding felt like a real party, from the moment they exchanged their vows overlooking the gorgeous paddy fields of Bali right through to dancing the night away with their friends.
The bride looked absolutely resplendent in her lengha and white bridal gown, and the all-white décor certainly set an elegant tone, especially against that backdrop. Many thanks to Gusmank Wedding Photography for capturing these beautiful, sunny photos.
Angendari from GusmanK Wedding Photography: “Dara Ayu Villas is set in its own valley, among the immaculate terraces of rice paddies about 40 minutes from Ubud. It was the perfect backdrop for Sarah and Anthony, a couple from the UAE.
“The theme was white with a modern twist, and featured framed photographs of the couple’s travels and pets. The décor was elegant, blending imaginative floral designs with nature’s splendour. White orchids and pink roses complemented the custom-built floating altar on the swimming pool, which created an ‘infinity and serenity’ effect. Every guest was also presented with a welcome drink in a personalised glass.”
