Pops of yellow immediately add happy cheer to any celebration, and a wedding is nothing if not a joyful party. We love the attention to detail in this sweet, intimate ROM ceremony in the couple’s backyard of their holiday home – from the gorgeous fresh flowers to the varying textures of white décor elements. Many thanks to Memoir Click Studio for snapping this joyful set of wedding photos!
Victoria: “It was so special seeing my year-long wedding planning come to fruition – and of course, the best part was the vows we exchanged. We’ve been together for eleven years and were in a long distance relationship before finally tying the knot, so it was a very sentimental moment for us when we could finally claim each other for forever and always.
“I love flowers and always wanted a garden wedding for my ROM ceremony. I chose yellow and white as it was a happy colour combination – which is what a wedding should be! It was such a joyful sight with everybody dressed up in matching colours. The venue was at our lovely weekend house, which was perfect for a house party after the ceremony. Our garden looked so vibrant with all the fresh flower decorations. In the evening, we had a cosy buffet style dinner so all our guests could mingle freely.”
Tips from the bride: “Start the wedding planning as early as possible so that towards the last few months, you can just relax and stay pretty. Online wedding magazines and Pinterest are very good sources for inspiration; read them and pin them. Lastly, when seeking advice, just remember that everyone has different preferences, so trust your own taste – it’s your wedding after all.”
