Some bridal portraits are just unique, while others are extra meaningful. For Priscilla and Benjamin, Canada holds a special place in their hearts because it’s where they got engaged. The Great White North is like no other place in the world – snow-capped mountains, bluer than blue lakes, and all that wildlife! As you can see, the couple got to ride horses, paddle a canoe, and much more. In these photos by René Tate Photography, everything was simply picture perfect.
Priscilla: “As Ben’s currently training with the RSAF in Canada, we decided to drive down to Banff, Alberta, for our engagement shoot. It’s an unusual location choice for Singaporeans but we were inspired by its blue lakes, tall green trees, and snow-capped mountains.
“We came to know about Rene back in 2012 when she shot my sister’s engagement photos in Colorado. Like my sister and I, she was also a military wife, so there was a special connection. I enjoy Rene’s bright pictures and her love for detailed shots, which she captures in a photojournalistic, fun and casual style. We wanted not just images, but an experience that was unforgettable.”
