This couple infused their incredibly sweet wedding with their own style and pulled it off with the help of friends and family – from the decorations and calligraphy aisle to the wedding cake and catering. The pops of bright yellow against the clean white and green hues were perfectly accentuated by the tinges of gold. Not forgetting the little details such as the cute patterns, quirky notes, moustache boutonnières and colourful socks. All of it was made complete by the radiant smiles of the happy couple and their guests. Thanks to hellojanelee for this beautiful set of photos!

Grace: “Prepping for the big day itself was memorable, as most of our decorations were DIY and friends and family were heavily involved. It felt like a close knit affair even though our guest list was long. On the wedding day itself, we rented Sekeping Seapark for the gatecrashing and tea ceremony, as well as for my bridesmaids and I to get ready together. We chose Sekeping Seapark for the activities, as we loved the natural look of the place and it was great for photos! My husband is also an avid photographer himself, so there was no objection to this choice. It was so special to exchange our solemn vows to love and submit to one another, witnessed by family, friends and God. It made that day extra special as we rely on all of them to help our marriage flourish.

“We had a rustic vintage theme in mind with a focus on gold, yellow, brown and white. Almost everything in our wedding was DIY – the flower bouquets and décor details were beautifully designed by the groom, the calligraphy aisle was skillfully crafted by a close friend of ours, our wedding videos were filmed and edited by friends, and the catering was also organised by our friends from church.”

Tips from the bride: “Get friends and family to share the workload as they’re keen to help and it makes them feel like a part of the wedding. Take the time to prepare physically and mentally for the marriage as well, as the marriage is more important than the wedding! On the actual day, remember to just have fun and don’t fuss if things aren’t going the way you want them to.”
