Ah, to have such a dreamy wedding under the Tuscan sun! Swathed in greenery, featuring olive trees, stone walls and wood furnishings, this wedding was unreal, the bridal couple and their guests spoiled with the most amazing views.
The lovebirds exchanged their vows during the golden hour, and the bride looked resplendent in her bridal gown – that amazing lace detail! We love the deep pop of navy on the bridesmaids, and the groom’s tan suit too. Many thanks to Jenny Tong Photography for this amazing set of photos.
Yanti: “Every minute of it was memorable; normally couples say they can’t really remember most parts of the day as they were overwhelmed, but we’re glad we were quite relaxed and enjoyed every part of it. We still laugh about our failed first look attempt – I had to hide in the bushes because by the time we were ready to capture our first look, the guests had started arriving! There were other small things too, like Daniel was so nervous that he gave his right hand instead of his left during the ring exchange. But I’ll always remember the vows, the speeches – every minute was very memorable indeed.
“We looked at a lot of lovely Tuscan farms and villas, but the moment we came across Villa Le Fontanelle, we knew this was the one. At first, we were very disappointed when our wedding planner told us the villa was booked out the entire period of our preferred month and the next. But unexpectedly, a couple cancelled on the exact date that we wanted, and we couldn’t be happier! The villa was everything we wanted for an earthy, nature-inspired theme, with lots of stone, wood, greenery (forever yes to olive trees!) and natural light. We wanted the overall mood to be earthy, natural, romantic, intimate, diverse and joyful.
“For the décor, we kept the aesthetic soft and minimal, as we were surrounded by the natural beauty of the villa. We were very excited when our wedding planner suggested a floral arch in the shape of a waxing crescent moon. The arch was designed to be mobile so we could move it after the ceremony for guests to use as a backdrop for photos.”
Tips from the bride: “Finding a wedding planner who is familiar with your venue is so important, as they’d know all the secret spots for your portraits, as well as where to find the best light!”
