We love this storybook! It is true that every couple has a story and it doesn’t just end with “and they lived happily ever after”. Rather, there’s a prequel that comes before and a new chapter that they will begin. Life will have its share of ups and downs but this is the road that they have vowed to journey on together.
Pearlyn: “We absolutely love bunnies, so the first step was to create our logo, and everything else fit right in. We wanted our wedding to be soft, dreamy and romantic, and yet not too fussy. For our photoshoot, Super Panda Presents and Jessica from Wedrock Weddings did a fab job at decorating the space. You’ll also see a Maison Michel-inspired bunny ears headpiece. We wanted to have our childhood photos incorporated into the wedding video instead of doing the typical photo montage, so we created a “family tree” (literally) by hanging our childhood photos on the trees. I also DIY-ed a long tulle garland, which added a dreaminess to our photoshoot.”
Tips from the bride: “Pinterest and other wedding websites never fail to inspire, but sometimes brides combine too many pretty things without looking at the big picture. I think that a bride should enjoy not only the wedding day itself, but also the process. DIY projects are always a nice touch, but it’s not wise if it stresses you out and takes away the enjoyment of preparing for your wedding. Sometimes brides get so caught up in the process – from the Elie Saab gown to the Tiffany chairs – that we fail to remember the purpose of marriage. If, at the end of the day, you are married to the one you love, then everything has gone perfectly well.”
