The bride shared: “Amongst the most memorable moments from our big day were the décor and speeches. After our guests were seated, we kicked off the night with our well-prepared speech. It was important to us that we acknowledge and thank our loved ones at the very beginning of the night, as many of them had travelled from far to bring us their blessings and well wishes.”

Choosing “Translucent Transcension” as their wedding theme, the couple sought an ambience that was clean and minimalist, with hints of beauty and elegance. As they planned their wedding together, they were able to confirm a shared desire to have an intimate occasion, one that would allow them the time to interact and bond with their guests.

ZáHuoHang, their décor vendor took note, going with “lighter” decorative items such as polycarbonate and acrylic with hints of blue. Curtains in matte green and ivory white complemented the warm hues of the oaken hall. The result was a wedding banquet with an air of tranquility, where everyone could focus on celebrating the couple’s union in their beloved hometown of Kuching.

Tips from the bride: “Enjoy the night. Don’t ever forget that weddings are really for the couple to enjoy their guests rather than to worry about serving them. It was crucial for us to leave our wedding in the hands of professionals who took care of the decorations, food and services. That allowed me to busy myself dancing, drinking, and laughing with my guests! I had such a great time that even now, when I close my eyes, in my head is a clear picture of a beautiful wedding night, where I had Sean and everyone I loved by my side. Remember, you only get to do this once. Relax, don’t fuss, and enjoy your wedding to the fullest.”
