If you’re thinking of having a quick getaway before your wedding, consider the Bvlgari Resort Bali, as this couple did. Desiring a more “natural” and “earthy” destination, they chose this resort in Uluwatu for its magnificent sweeping views of the Indian Ocean, courtesy of its unique position of being 150 metres above sea level. Thanks for these brilliant shots, Fire, Wood & Earth!

Bali was an easy choice for this well-travelled couple, who both love the place and have quite the reservoir of beautiful memories there. The bride-to-be had first travelled to Bali 12 years ago for a month-long surf-and-explore trip with her brother and some friends, and has since returned many times, making a “second home” of the mystical island.

Here, she looked exceptional in an elegant silk slip gown with embroidery in neutral tones, and minimalist makeup and hair. A touch of tinted moisturiser, black mascara and a matte beige lippie, along with sun-dried hair, were all she needed to look effortlessly gorgeous. The groom, meanwhile, complemented her in his off-white linen blazer. We just love the freshness about them.

The bride shared: “The atmosphere was just incredible. The resort even had its own secluded white sand beach in front of a brilliant blue lagoon, with the Indian Ocean crashing into the reef.” In fact, with its floors built using hand-cut volcanic stones, lava and palimanan stone, not to mention the abundant greenery all around, the resort grounds were almost reminiscent of an Italian village.
