Talk about creative! Never have we seen a Save the Date like this absolutely gorgeous social media experiment. It really leaves an impression. Faced with the uncertainty of Singapore’s Circuit Breaker, Melvin of Multifolds Photography and his crew pulled off a FaceTime photoshoot using their knowledge of mobile phone photo editing, creating an awesome set of #stayhome portraits for this quirky couple.
While these photos in no way replicate the resolution and quality of in-person bridal portrait shoots, it’s a creative and memorable experience for couples who want an interesting and timely keepsake at an affordable price. Playing around with the technology required is part of the fun, as shown in the highlights linked here. Twenty years on, this will be a nostalgic reminder of these Circuit Breaker days in Singapore.
Fortunately for this couple, they actually had another set of bridal portraits that were taken in New Zealand prior to all the Covid-19 lockdowns. As much as we love the home shots, seeing the couple fully-suited and photographed against snow-capped mountains is breathtaking! May their coming days be filled with exquisite beauty, greater than even the stories their albums tell.
