The first time we walked into the Time Tunnel Museum at Cameron Highlands, we knew right away that we just had to do a photoshoot here. This undiscovered place is filled with gems of yesteryears. Gone are the days of museum displays in glass cases. Here, you literally feel as if you’ve walked through a time tunnel and gone back in time. Thank God for our photographer, Jennifer of Jspy Photography, and the team, who were game enough to make the trip up to Cameron Highlands with us.

Chaiyen: “The surroundings are rather dark, so for the casual look we styled the couple in brighter colours. We brought Coke bottles for props as their wedding theme revolved around that. It is quite a journey from Kuala Lumpur, so we stayed two nights to ensure we would have sufficient time and enough rest before the shoot. We were worried that the place would be a bit too dark, but everything turned out perfect.”

Needless to say, we barely had enough time to do the beauty of this place justice. So the next time you are in Cameron Highlands, please visit the Time Tunnel Museum. You just need to pay a ridiculously low entry fee, and we promise you will go Instagram-crazy here.

  1. Samantha Contact the photographer and get a quotation, that is between the photographer and the couple. To do a shoot in Time Tunnel, each of you just need to pay RM5 to get in there but you would want to choose non peak period so that you can have more space to do the shoot. Good luck!

  2. Hey Phoebe, glad that you love their photos.

Forgive us for not being clearer with the country. There are just so many beautiful places in every small towns and states in each country in Asia. This site is to celebrate these photographers and brides that are adventurous enough to discover new places and new things.

We had tagged every story according to the country and the next time you do visit or plan to do any shoot here, you can check out these places!

  3. I’m from Canada so it took me a while to figure out where Cameron Highlands is situated…of course until I saw the “Malaysia” tag. But this represents a successful photoshoot, as the images allowed me to fall into a time-warped trance that disengaged any physical knowledge of the site’s location. I am enjoying this body of work a lot. great job!
