When it is your childhood home that has been preserved and eventually transformed into the up and coming Tian Jing Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, you can imagine just how meaningful it would be to have your engagement portraits shot there. Making it even more sentimental for Carey is the fact that her mother got married there too. Many thanks to MOCO: Capturing Life Moments for these brilliant captures!
“Her mother brought her old wedding album to show us how the place looked before the refurbishment. How different things were,” says photographer Cheryl Wong of MOCO: Capturing Life Moments. “Like many others, this couple personalised their formals to inject a touch of their personality.”
Dressed respectively in a navy blue coat with vintage bow tie and vibrant red dress, the couple’s outfits stood out beautifully. And to add a different feel to the album, they also ventured out to a desert-esque location in Puncak Alam, complete with rocky hills in the background.
