Every once in a while, we will come across a bride who knows exactly what she wants, one who is not afraid to be different and plan her wedding exactly as she desires it to be. It is really easy to spot this kind of bride, and photographers adore them, as they don’t look uptight, they are not camera conscious, and they look amazing. Vivienne is one of those brides. Thanks, Andrew for sending over this story.

Vivienne: “We didn’t want the usual wedding at a hotel, and we didn’t want a garden ceremony, either. We looked for something that was in between, cosy with good food and good service – those were among our top criteria in selecting a venue. We both love electric blue, and thought it would go well with white and yellow accents. No one had ever had an electric blue theme at the restaurant before so that made us unique. Our favours were simple. It had to be something that our guests would keep, so we decided on a photobooth where guests could pose with fun props and then take home photos of themselves. One of the best things was having the people who matter celebrate our day with us, and having our dog, Cleo, as our ring bearer that day.”

Tips from the bride: “Just go with the flow. Try and enjoy yourself. Plan early. If you can afford it, get a good planner. And don’t sweat the small stuff: the wedding only lasts for a day, but a marriage is for life, and that’s what really matters.”
