    For Better Or For Worse

This photoshoot wins brownie points because QL is a Manchester United fan. Inspired by them, we’re going to feature a whole week of sports-themed weddings. Read their full story here.   Briefly: QL promised his wife he would never bring friends over to watch football because of the mess that they always leave behind. So one day, he and a friend decided to skip work to watch the replay of a big match during the day, while his wife Sharon was at work. It was a Manchester United vs. Chelsea game, and as you can see from this photoshoot, it was a very stressful 90 or more minutes. The nerves…

    Three Is Better Than One

This music video from Steve Shane is really good. Loads of effort and thought put into it. Coordinating the timing of all three iPhones is a challenge in itself, and we love the song very much too. Steve actually put up the three links below to encourage people to make their own videos. iPhone #1 This is the one you will start first. It’s the one with the audio track. iPhone #2 This is the one you will start second – when iPhone #1 is at 10 seconds. iPhone #3 This is the one you will start last – when iPhone #2 is at 5 seconds. It counts down from…

    Rustic Peach

Eliska was a wedding coordinator in the Philippines before moving to Australia, so you know she won’t expect anything less than perfection for her own wedding day. She and Aaron wanted to get married in Sydney to mark the start of their new life there. A lot of love and detail were poured into their wedding, and we love how their family and friends came from afar to join them for the celebrations. Eliska: “I’ve always loved peach and vintage so we just played with both. We ended up with peach, blush and grey as our colours. And then it all became like, rustic chic, which was perfect for the…

    One Voice

This is an amazing idea that’s never crossed our minds before. Put together by Crazy Monkey Studio, the video shows how profound it can be when the wedding vows are edited together instead of being shown separately. For the very first time, we felt two people putting aside their differences and coming together as one voice. JIA XIN & LIVINGSTONE {Singapore} Videography by Crazy Monkey Studio

    Blush Pink And Black

This wedding, held at Bankers Club, was planned by Chic Occasions. The place was decorated with blush pink and white hydrangeas, roses and carnations, beautifully combined with black ribbons and lace. The black touches really made the décor stand out from the usual soft wedding looks, and gave it a little bit more character to complement the venue’s dark wood and dark carpet colour. Green Vintage

This wedding truly is a celebration of friends and loved ones. From the wedding planning by good friend Theodora Soh to the invitations and stationery, from the flowers and décor to the cakes and desserts, everything was put together by friends of the bridal couple. How very blessed they are to have been showered with so much help from family and friends. Besides the beautiful details, we also love the people and the emotions that were captured. You can almost hear the music, the tears and the laughter. And looking at all the photos and watching the video, you realise that is exactly what it was like. Charlene: “Standing outside…

This set of photos seems to have been very carefully planned and put together. Jean’s lovely lace dress looks simple and sweet, just right for props like these. The Coke bottles and red apples have nothing to do with each other but somehow, the red branding of Coke brings everything together. Enjoy! Alphabet Bean Bags

How about decorating the guestbook table or candy buffet with a bunch of colourful pillows with phrases like ‘love’ or the bridal couple’s initials? It is quite a bit of work but the colourful fabrics and patterns will definitely make your wedding stand out. Thanks to Melanie of The Crafty Cupboard for sharing this lovely tutorial. It is actually a brilliant way to teach her little girl to read letters. Read the detailed instructions here.
