For their wedding at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Kelly and Reuben with the help of Dayco kept things classic and simple with bundles of white flowers and eucalyptus leaves, lush ferns and vines, and wheat stalks and feathers for a glamorous touch. Textures were kept to just lace embellishments and candles, finished off with gilded Tiffany chairs and hanging glass candleholders as part of the table centerpieces. What a sight to behold! The newlyweds exchanged their vows in the Orchid Room, where there was plenty of natural light and interesting pops of colour. Many thanks to Jasmine. A Photography for this gorgeous set of photos.

Kelly: “The most memorable moment was when we exchanged our vows. Tears streamed down our faces as we thought about how we had begun this journey together, and now we were husband and wife. Reuben even sang a short verse of my favourite Jay Chou song, which was also our wedding proposal song.

“We had always liked the colonial look and feel of The Majestic Hotel. Paired with a botanical wedding theme, it gave us the perfect balance of simplicity and style, and this was exactly how we wanted our wedding to be.”

Tips from the bride: “There will be a million things that won’t go according to plan on your wedding day, so the most important thing is to chill and enjoy the moment. Be prepared to deal with an array of issues, or leave everything to someone trustworthy. Prepare yourself mentally too, so your attitude towards things will be more positive.”
