Keeping things modern yet classic, this couple went with the timelessly elegant colours of black, white and champagne. With the background colour palette in place, fresh white flowers and leafy greens, crisp white tablecloths and décor punctuated with dreamy fairy lights created the perfect setup for celebrating their new union with family and friends. We especially love the exposed beams of the church, which added a touch of grandeur. Many thanks to Toto Villaruel for capturing such beautiful moments and snapshots!

Joanarc: “I was relaxed the entire morning until we drove up to the church. As soon as I stepped out of the car and stood before the church’s closed doors, I felt nervous. When the doors opened, I cried upon seeing our friends, families and colleagues. I only stopped because I saw Brian bawling and it surprised me because I’ve never seen him cry.

“We wanted to keep it simple and elegant since it is a celebration of our marriage witnessed by close friends and family. We limited the colours to black, white and champagne to create a modern feel, but we filled the venue with flowers and lights to evoke a feeling of cosiness. We wanted everything to be chill – for our guests to feel relaxed and for everyone, including us, to have fun.”

Tips from the bride: “Just cherish every moment, every detail that you’ve spent months preparing!”
