A wedding is truly meant to reflect the personality of the newlyweds, and for this couple, that meant including their cats! Keeping things minimalist, with muted tones and neutral decorations, this cosy and beautiful wedding showed hints of glamour in the dramatic, tall floral elements and fairy lights. The happy couple looked resplendent as they celebrated their union with loved ones, and we love the bride’s tasteful, long-sleeved lace dress, styled with a lovely side braid. Thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for these wonderfully captured photos!

Natalia: “I really wanted my fur babies with me on my special day! My two cats, Elijah and Oliver, were essential in helping me pull through my darkest days, and I wanted to share the joy of the most beautiful day of my life with them. Even though they slept through the entire event!”

Natalia and Frederick: “We envisioned the solemnisation to be casual and laidback, where friends and family were not restricted to their tables and were free to walk, talk and sit wherever they pleased. We just wanted a space beyond the conventional void decks, country clubs or hotel restaurants. We wanted to be different and make our wedding our own. The problem was we had exhausted all options in finding a suitable venue that ticked all of the above boxes, until our florist, Linnette from Floral Magic, showed us Chun Tsubaki on Instagram!

“It’s such a beautiful venue with its high-ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a big enough space to accommodate our ideas. We loved it the moment we saw it for the first time! Our theme was organic and raw with muted colours to keep things plain and simple, plus it blended well with the space. We chose to splurge on food and music, and instead used the furniture and portable backdrop that came with the venue.”

Tips from the bride: “Instagram is a great tool. I used it to look at the work of our vendors. From there, we arranged meetings individually to ensure they were able to share our vision.”
