Just the right amount of glitter and sparkle gave this wedding the perfect touch of glamour and elegance – from the immaculately decorated tablescapes and backdrops to the gorgeous giant rosettes on the back of the bridal table’s chairs; from the stunning bride in her gown to the ballroom’s chandeliers, everything looked like a magical fairytale. Many thanks to Wishing Tree for the beautiful floral touches and magnificent décor, and to Louis Loo of Deviews Production for capturing these special moments.

Su-Quinn: “Grand Hyatt’s chandeliers in their ballroom gave the entire hall and setup a great illumination, and it went hand-in-hand with my glitter theme. Somehow all the colours worked so well together. It was basically a pastel palette with a touch of glitter.

“After working closely with the Wishing Tree team, we finally decided on a Hall of Mirrors backdrop – based on the most sought-after room in the Palace of Versailles in France. I was hesitant at first, for fear that it would make the whole ambience too gold or gaudy, but it proved me wrong.”

Tips from the bride: “Trust your instincts when it comes to vendors and when you first interview them. Ask yourself if they’re capable, responsible and able to take your honest opinion in the times to come. Don’t be so hard on yourself – I realised I brought a lot of strain upon myself, when others didn’t even notice the minute details.”
