The question we’ve all asked lately is, how will weddings look like now with Covid-19? We’ve had ZOOM weddings, weddings at home, weddings with just 10 people… For Rebecca and Wy Keat, they had all the usual excitement of the day, but with just 50 people and a Zoom call for everyone who could not be there. Paring things down meant highlighting the things that mattered. The bride also ensured that everything could be reusable, and that both her and the groom had time with their loved ones on their special day. We love the pops of joyful orange and the warmth of the venue – what a truly perfect…
Drawing inspiration from a recent trip to Ile de Re, an island off the west coast of France, New York based designer Alexandra Grecco combined that with silhouettes and details that could be found in a 1920s circus to create her Fall 2018 collection. Christened “The Magic Hour”, the collection features feathers and shimmering beads that are perfect for the playful and free-spirited bride, while floral elements inspired by the flowers on Ile de Re are hand embroidered on illusion tulle for a tattoo effect. The colours that make up the collection were also inspired by the island, including the pastel buildings and hollyhocks that lined the narrow cobblestone streets.
