Nature-Filled Engagement Portraits in the Hidden Gem that is Bako National Park, Sarawak
Inspired by this couple’s love for the outdoors, filled with sentimentality and untouched beauty, these engagement portraits perfectly capture the artistry of Mother Nature. Shot on an island that is part of Bako National Park, the fine sand beaches, dramatic granite rocks and exposed tree roots formed the most spectacular backdrop. We love the bride-to-be’s super chic outfit as well – a slouchy white suit jacket with a maxi skirt and wide-brimmed hat. Many thanks to Andy Phe Photography for this breathtaking set of photos! A Traditional Yet Glamorous Blush Pink Wedding in Sarawak
It’s not often that we get to feature an Iban wedding, and this one was beautifully put together, from the cosy and intimate celebrations with close friends and family to the open reception that included everyone in Kapit. What’s even more amazing is that a clear theme was maintained throughout – the blush, grey and light gold palette tastefully brought together with textures such as drapery, florals and other traditional elements. Many thanks to Andy Phe of Bespoke Photographics and Melia Linggi of the Tun Jugah Foundation for all the important information on Iban weddings and customs. Amanda: “The theme for our church blessing was ‘Rustic Garden’. Our altar stage…

Contemporary Indoor Rainforest Wedding at Borneo Convention Centre
We love how this couple, both interior designers, transformed a large hall at the Borneo Convention Centre into a lush garden-themed wedding venue! Their love for nature and greenery is evident from the tall arch of bramble and large leaves, elegantly dressed with hanging bulbs; the adorable potted succulents that served as wedding favours; and the decorative ornaments in bronze, brown and oak. Thanks to Andy Phe of Bespoke Photoraphics for these splendid shots!

Breezy, Laid-Back Wedding In Cove 55, Sarawak
Classy meets casual in this radiant, tender wedding held in Santubong, Sarawak, amidst a setting of lush greens and white roses. Henry was sharp and dapper in a lapis blue suit while Liv glowed and sparkled in a stunning barebacked gown. The atmosphere was soft and relaxed yet splashed in glamour and style. As the rose-covered letters of their initials reflected off the water of a nearby pool, delicate flowers and fairy lights danced in the night in a wash of heliotrope. The stately colonial architecture of Cove 55 was also the perfect enchanting backdrop to the Iban Ngajat dancers and this beautiful couple’s whimsically Malaysian alfresco reception. Hats off…

A Turquoise Tropical Wedding At Koh Phi Phi
Imagine exchanging your vows overlooking the gorgeous Andaman Ocean, in the presence of your closest friends and family, with the salty sea breeze in your hair and soft sand between your toes. That’s exactly what this bride and groom did. The bride looked resplendent in her lace-back mermaid-style wedding gown, which was perfectly complemented by her bridal bouquet of white roses and flowers. Many thanks to

A Rustic Wedding At The Old Courthouse, Kuching
This beautiful white colonial building, now converted into a fine restaurant and with a lovely garden outside, was perfect for this wedding. The couple added just enough detail to complement the existing architecture – sometimes simplicity is the key to such a beautiful venue. Thanks, Andy Phe, for this lovely set of photos. Cheng Cheng: “It drizzled earlier in the morning which got us worried as our wedding ceremony was going to be held later that afternoon. It was a blessing that we got clear skies when the time came, and that all of our invited guests were able to attend and witness our marriage. “Walking down the aisle with…
