A Modern and Elegant Wedding at Seven Terraces Hotel, Penang
Colour us impressed with the level of detail that went into this gorgeous wedding, it’s so full of texture, colour and personality! Despite the traditional Peranakan-themed space, the newlyweds managed to weave a variety of modern touches into the décor so that everything came together beautifully. Many thanks to Jenny Sun Photography for capturing all the stylish details. Reuben and Ji-An: “There were so many moments that were our favourites. For Reuben, it was the exchanging of vows and his piano performance. For Ji-An, the speeches, Reuben’s performance, and the father-daughter dance were really memorable. When we were planning our wedding with Hui Wen from Soiree Lab, there were so…

Celebrating Their Original Wedding Date With a Simple Rustic Chic Vow Exchange At KLoé Hotel
By now, you would have heard of many cancelled weddings and postponed receptions. While disappointing, these newlyweds still wanted to honour the day they were originally going to become husband and wife. Their intended wedding date fell during Malaysia’s Movement Control Order, which meant large gatherings were not allowed but photoshoots with strict social distancing in place were good to go. These pre-wedding shots were taken at the newly opened rustic chic boutique hotel, KLoé Hotel in downtown KL, and the couple also used the opportunity to exchange their personal vows. Love prevails! The beautiful space and lush wildflowers, together with the bride’s chic bridal jumpsuit, made for a beautifully…

A Pink Rustic Garden Wedding at Emu Bottom Homestead, Australia
With a classic wedding palette of white, green, light pink and champagne, this dreamy wedding had lots of heart, set against a rustic backdrop of woodsy elements and simple garden textures. Paying homage to their adopted home of Australia, the newlyweds centred their theme on an Australian wildflower: the king protea, which is known for its deep hues of coral and pink. The gorgeous wildflowers were a trendy touch, as was the circular backdrop for when the couple exchanged their vows. Many thanks to Anson’s Photography for this beautiful set of photos!

An Enthralling Pastel Beach Wedding Solemnisation at Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort, Thailand
Check out this beautiful wedding album that was shot at Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort, Thailand. The couple’s theme was based on three words: fun, intimate and whimsical. They set out to create their desired ambience – a rustic, relaxed and magical set-up surrounded by trees on the beach and enhanced by fairy lights. The theme colours of white, champagne, blue, shale, rose gold, burgundy and brown complemented the guests’ dress code of navy blue and white, and the bridal party’s shades of sky blue and lily green. The bridesmaids’ flowers were artificial flowers that were created by Beatrice’s bridesmaid, Elanna, and her mum, Silvia. This allowed the couple to…

A Classic Red Wedding with a Contemporary Twist at CHIJMES Singapore
The couple had a tonne of ideas for their wedding, but they scoured Pinterest to find images that they liked – flowers, attire, stationery and more – before settling on a concept. They wanted a wedding that was dramatic and loud with a good dose of fun, quirkiness and sophistication, and initially thought about having a “moody romance” theme, but couldn’t quite put their finger on it until they met Larry from Hello From Flour, a bespoke styling and dessert provider in Singapore. He finalised their concept into what he named “All You Need Is Love… and a Neon Sign!” This concept served as a guide for the couple as…

Renewing Their Vows In An Intimate Family Affair at Nungnung Waterfall Bali For Their 10th Anniversary
For their 10th anniversary, this couple fulfilled the promise they made when they got married – to return to Nungnung Waterfall Bali, where they had their honeymoon, and renew their vows. Only this time, they also had their two daughters with them. We love that behind every pretty wedding is a beautiful love story that is unique to each couple, and this story, in particular, speaks of strength, commitment, and the fulfilment of promises. Thank you for these amazing shots, Fire, Wood & Earth!

A Boho Chic, Wes Anderson-inspired Wedding at Janda Baik
No stone was left unturned at this beautifully conceptualised Wes Anderson-inspired wedding. Full of decorative rugs and feathers, the newlyweds paid homage to Anderson’s quirky and distinctive aesthetic, from the colour palette and the décor to even his trademark symmetry. The bohemian style and festival vibe was an unconventional choice, but what an amazing wedding it turned out to be! Thanks to ChongYee Photography for capturing all the intricate details.

A Cosy, Autumn-themed Wedding At The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
The sweetest part of this wedding was how much the newlyweds included the guests into their special day. From keeping it intimate and personalising agate slices to illustrating the guests for the guestbook, the couple ensured that their wedding day meant just as much to their loved ones as it did to them. We love the massive grazing table that was put together by the couple’s friends, and the entire day was clearly filled with so much love and warmth. Also, how beautiful are the deep green eucalyptus leaves and ferns, set against the burnt orange and blush pink tones! Many thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for capturing this beautiful…
