By now, you would have heard of many cancelled weddings and postponed receptions. While disappointing, these newlyweds still wanted to honour the day they were originally going to become husband and wife. Their intended wedding date fell during Malaysia’s Movement Control Order, which meant large gatherings were not allowed but photoshoots with strict social distancing in place were good to go. Inside a glass ceilinged chapel flooded with natural light, and decked out with lots of white flowers and lush greenery, these newlyweds exchanged their vows in the company of some of their closest friends and family. Choosing muted tones, the groomsmen wore grey suits while the bridesmaids looked resplendent in blue-gray lace kebayas. Lace was a defining texture, together with the wooden fixings.
