A Nostalgia-inspired Modern Wedding+Whimsical Vibrant Garden Ceremony in Singapore

Weddings tend to signify the turning point of going from your past into your future, and for these newlyweds, that came in the form of their wedding celebrations. Opting for traditional and nostalgia first, with a church solemnisation and tea ceremony, they let loose with their friends on the second day, surrounded by nature and with much dancing beneath the night sky. Many thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for capturing this gorgeous wedding. Desiree: “Being married by Msgr Ambrose, who had journeyed with us for a year and knew us so well, was so special. Other memorable moments included the very special vow ceremony led by my childhood friend, my…

Natural And Blush Wedding Ceremony at Church of Saints Peter And Paul, Singapore

To have a truly blessed wedding day, a couple must start right at the beginning and seek only the things that matter. We see it here, in this couple’s tastefully and thoughtfully planned wedding that was held at the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Singapore. With tall stained glass windows and white walled interiors, we couldn’t help but notice that when a venue is as rich and gorgeous as this, there is little need for further ornamentation. Thank you for these brilliant shots, Bloc Memoire Photography!

Botanicals, Blush And Dusty Blue At Nosh, Singapore

Guided by their vintage botanical theme of neutral hues, greenery, and a touch of dusty blue and gold, Charis and Joshua put together a DIY wedding at the church where they grew up – Church of the Good Shepherd. It was indeed a labour of love for the couple and their friends, as they created the calligraphy musical backdrop, signs and wedding invitations. Many thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for these precious memories! Weddings are a celebration of a couple’s union, but they are also in large part about the people who have been a part of that journey. We are always glad to see couples search for unique ways…

An East-Meets-West Vineyard Wedding In France

Vineyards are the perfect venue for an intimate wedding, and we love how this couple infused their personality, story and heritage into their nuptials. Besides the subtle inclusion of the bride’s half-Indian heritage and the groom’s creative designs, they also included their friends and family, as well as utilised the romantic outdoor space to the fullest. Keeping their décor minimal to enhance the French vineyard setting, they used lavender as part of the decorations and everything just came together beautifully. Many thanks to Et Voila Weddings for another beautiful wedding and Caroline Cuinet Wellings of BlueCicada Photography for this incredible set of photos. The bride was truly resplendent and the…

A Colourful Gatecrashing Ceremony At Sekeping Seapark

This couple infused their incredibly sweet wedding with their own style and pulled it off with the help of friends and family – from the decorations and calligraphy aisle to the wedding cake and catering. The pops of bright yellow against the clean white and green hues were perfectly accentuated by the tinges of gold. Not forgetting the little details such as the cute patterns, quirky notes, moustache boutonnières and colourful socks. All of it was made complete by the radiant smiles of the happy couple and their guests. Thanks to hellojanelee for this beautiful set of photos!

A Simple Backyard Wedding In Bali

It is rare, very rare to have a bride tell us, “I didn’t want to make my wedding ‘something special’.” But when she began to explain, we understood why. Kimiyo didn’t want a wedding that just wow-ed and impressed people, she wanted a moment shared with her loved ones. That’s truly beautiful and we would love to see more weddings like this, because it’s heartbreaking when weddings become little more than just a show. Thanks, Evermotion, for capturing this amazing couple! Kimiyo: “I wanted it to feel very natural, as if we were in our home and had the ceremony in our own backyard. I shared my vision with my…

    A DIY Movie Themed Wedding

Photo by Mark Teo Photography Photo by Mark Teo Photography Photo by Mark Teo Photography We are proud of this couple who coordinated their own wedding. Once in a while, you’ll see a groom who really wants to be involved, and in this case, it was because he wanted to see his bride happy! We love this wedding not just because of the romantic venue, but also the way they gave it character so they could call it their own. Since both Tenny and Aaron are from an advertising agency, their wedding was filled with quirky copywriting, and they successfully engaged their guests with lots of laughter and tears of…

Lisbon, The Charming Capital Of Portugal

There is something about post-wedding portraits that we can’t quite put words to. They are always more beautiful and serene, perhaps because the pressure of pulling off the perfect wedding is over. Or it might be the joy of starting a new journey. Whatever it is, they somehow have a way of touching our hearts. The best thing about these photos – the couple from Singapore actually found a local photographer online to capture everything so perfectly. Great choice, Angeline!
