A Romantic, Moody Floral Wedding at Sentul Depot, Kuala Lumpur

The pandemic definitely threw a spanner into the works, but that didn’t stop Eileen and Nicholas from planning their dream wedding – and having the time of their lives when they finally got to celebrate their union. We know many couples have had to recalibrate their wedding plans, and these newlyweds were no different. From the décor to the delectable cheeseboard, they put extra thought into their special day to make their guests feel as if they had “travelled” somewhere. Many thanks to Natasha Khoo of The Peak Xperience for the gorgeous setup and Vinoth Raj Pillai for capturing these beautiful photos of joy! Additional decor photos above in this…

A Chic Yet Moody Intimate Wedding At Wildflowers KL, Chinatown

What a beautiful and understatedly chic wedding! From the bride’s low ponytail and trendy off-shoulder bridal gown to the venue’s all-black interior, these newlyweds definitely knew what they were doing. They even got their guests to all dress in white for the occasion! It’s de rigour now to have family-only weddings with less than 50 people, but that doesn’t mean you have to forgo a glamorous setup. It is still your special day, after all! Many thanks to Pathway Events & Design and Louis Gan Photography for this beautiful set of photos.

A Raw Play on Neutrals for Bridal Portraits in Port Klang

We really like this album for several reasons. The shoot location in Port Klang has a raw edge about it that gives this couple’s bridal portraits such a kick – if you will – and we reckon it will inspire other couples to think out of the box for their own shoots. Thank you for these brilliant shots, Kane.CY Photography! Probably one of the most notable things about this is the couple’s choice of non-traditional, neutral outfits. We certainly appreciate the way this reflects the bride’s personality – tough and independent. We have to say, the black, white and orange palette is simply spot on. When it comes to bridal…

An Unconventional Rustic and Black Wedding at Sekeping Jugra

When life as we knew it stopped for so many of us in lockdown, those who had planned to get married during this time were met with uncertainty – to postpone or cancel all together? And if they postponed their wedding, until when? For this couple, as soon as the Malaysian government gave the green light, everything was quickly put in motion for a cosy, intimate wedding. No matter that it wasn’t the big soiree that they had originally intended, the most important people were there and that was all that mattered. Many thanks to Trees On The Moon for capturing this beautiful wedding.

A Classic White and Green Wedding at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur

For their wedding at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Kelly and Reuben with the help of Dayco kept things classic and simple with bundles of white flowers and eucalyptus leaves, lush ferns and vines, and wheat stalks and feathers for a glamorous touch. Textures were kept to just lace embellishments and candles, finished off with gilded Tiffany chairs and hanging glass candleholders as part of the table centerpieces. What a sight to behold! The newlyweds exchanged their vows in the Orchid Room, where there was plenty of natural light and interesting pops of colour. Many thanks to Jasmine. A Photography for this gorgeous set of photos.

Moody, Grungy and Cool Bridal Portraits at Mount Bromo

There’s no doubt that Mount Bromo is breathtaking, but we love what these newlyweds chose to do for their bridal portraits. Dressed in a simple black lace dress with pops of mustard yellow and burnt orange, the couple’s outfits certainly set the mood for some extraordinary photos. We especially love the framing of that photo of the bride’s hair blowing in the wind! Thanks, Louis Gan Photography, for this unique and memorable set.

    An Artistic Monochrome Styled Shoot

We’re besotted with these drop-dead gorgeous styled bridal portraits! An art gallery is the perfect venue as it allows you to start with a blank canvas, and this concept of incorporating art into romance is a refreshing breath of fresh air. A modern take on everything, from attire to styling, it also shows that neutrals and monochrome palettes can be just as exciting. Many thanks to Ribka of Ever Mine Ever Thine Ever Ours for this chic concept, and to WeFreeze Photography for capturing these shots perfectly. Ribka of Ever Mine Ever Thine Ever Ours: “The concept for the shoot was inspired by One Line Art, which is a simple…

A Gatsby-Inspired Hollywood Glam Wedding In Hilton Kuala Lumpur

From gilded candlesticks and chairs to feathers, beads and all that jazz, Mellissa and Kristian’s wedding celebration certainly paid homage to the glam era of Old Hollywood. The mixture of long and round tables, giant balloon wall, and that dazzling black and gold backdrop with the newlyweds’ initials all helped to create a truly glamorous affair. What a night to remember! And many thanks to Inlight Photos for capturing these absolutely amazing photos!

A Tropical Glamour Cosy Beach Wedding in Uluwatu, Bali

Keeping things romantic and intimate yet glamorous, this bride and groom definitely infused their wedding with their personality, from the bride opting to wear a glitzy gold gown in lieu of a traditional white wedding dress to her bridesmaids wearing all-black gowns. Complementing the bride was the groom in his dark floral blazer, the groomsmen’s white shirts and leaf boutonnières, and the floral bouquets of tropical leafy greens and pineapples as aisle décor. We especially love the lush green wedding arch where the couple exchanged their vows in front of their close family and friends, overlooking the romantic beaches of Uluwatu. Many thanks to Terralogical Photography for this truly romantic…

    Wild At Hearts

Following an elaborate planned proposal and the epic lengths the groom had to go through to design the ring, it was only normal that this beautiful couple would inject their own personality (and their beloved pets!) into their story. And what better way to tell their story than with their bridal portraits? For their low-key and relaxed shoot, Sarah and Alwin had their pet snake (Basil), rats (Cinnamon and Latte) and miniature schnauzer (Sitas) with them. We love how the bride’s hair glowed red in these photos, and the use of black balloons against the backdrop of a wide blue sky. Many thanks to One Way Ticket for the amazing…

A Dreamy, Rustic Styled Shoot With The Bridesmaids

There’s no better light than sunlight – together with the soft colour palette of pastel pink and white, it gave this photoshoot an all over dreamy, rustic fairytale feel. Thanks to Multifolds for sending us this whimsical styled shoot. The wispy dresses and flower crowns were just what was needed to complete the look.

A Rustic Glam Outdoor Wedding At The Edge, Bali

There’s plenty to love about this wedding. It is elaborate but in a very soothing and dreamy way, perhaps because of the colours, and we absolutely love it. It gives the wedding much warmth. We love how the family all dressed in black to create contrast. And we adore the idea of bridesmaids ditching the dresses; they look equally feminine in their jumpsuits. Thank you, Axioo, for sharing this with our readers.
