    A Retro 1960s-Inspired Backyard Wedding

The best thing about having a DIY wedding is that no matter what, it becomes very closely personalised to your own style and story. This couple was no exception, from involving their friends and family in the process to rummaging through their parents’ old knick-knacks. (They found some real gems!) We loved the relaxed vibe and casual décor, complete with the loving smiles of the newlyweds and their guests. Thanks to Memoir Click Studio for this pretty set of photos.

Make Your Own Wedding Car Cans

It’s been said that the clanging sound of the cans will ward off evil spirits and prevent them from kidnapping the bride. We’re not sure if you can actually drive around like this, but we made one for this Coke-themed wedding because it looks so pretty. Instead of the usual condensed milk or food cans, we used recycled Coke cans. MATERIALS – * Empty food cans or recycled Coke cans * Screwdriver * String

If you don’t already know, we don’t plan weddings. We love weddings and all things beautiful. Our desire is to see weddings in this region rise to greater heights. We understand that not everyone has the budget to splurge on their big day, but creativity bursts forth when your resources are limited. That is why many of our favourite weddings this year are DIY. Red MINI

Here are two of our favourite things put together, Coke and a MINI. Road trips are nice because they always remind us that we are on a journey. Like every bridal portrait or wedding, they are not the destination, merely part of a journey where two individuals celebrate their love for each other and pledge to finish the journey together. The photographer, Iyao, set the right mood for the shoot, and the floating alphabets are just adorable. This set of photos seems to have been very carefully planned and put together. Jean’s lovely lace dress looks simple and sweet, just right for props like these. The Coke bottles and red apples have nothing to do with each other but somehow, the red branding of Coke brings everything together. Enjoy!
