An Outdoor Spring Wedding in Lamont’s Bishop House, Perth

This intimate wedding was held in Lamont’s Bishop House, a restaurant located in the heart of the Perth city. Surrounded by tall buildings, it has a lush expanse of lawn fringed with trees and a courtyard that is perfect for hosting a lunch reception. Other than a vibrant peony backdrop, the ceremony space needed no further additions, while the banquet style reception tables were decorated with in-season flowers in gold vases. The colours were chosen with a spring theme in mind, bringing different shades of pink, fuchsia, yellow and orange together. Set against lush foliage and bathed in warm sunshine, the celebration certainly looked like a bright and happy start…

A Simple And Fun Lilac Wedding On A Yacht

Trade an aisle for a bridge to get onto a yacht and a yacht instead of a church, and you’ve got a unique venue for tying the knot! We love how this couple embraced the unconventional and held their ceremony on a yacht, before setting sail to have an onboard barbecue as their reception. Keeping things modern and their colour palette simple with shades of purple, they made sure everyone had a blast. Many thanks to Dennis Yap Photography* for capturing this wonderful set of photos.

A DIY Outdoor Wedding In Shades of Red At Gita Bayu

Simple yet elegant and surrounded by nature, this bride and groom tied the knot overlooking a lake at Gita Bayu. While she chose to keep things DIY, she had envisioned a colour scheme made up of varying shades of red, from pink to dark red, from the hanging paper cranes and décor to the bridal bouquet. We love their ingenious guestbook idea – guests wrote their well wishes on a salvaged piece of wood that was later turned into a coffee table top for the couple. What a wonderful memento of their special day. Many thanks to Dennis Yap Photography* for the sweet set of photos!

A Pretty In Pink Rustic Wedding in Healesville, Victoria

It’s undeniable that nature always makes the perfect backdrop, and for this couple, it was the elegant woods, ivy-coloured walls and expansive vineyards of Healesville in Victoria. They chose to keep the colour palette simple in different hues of pink, from the bridesmaids’ dresses to the pink roses and the décor. Many thanks to Dennis Yap Photography for this gorgeous set of photos.

    The Traditional Chinese Carriage

It is nice when couples these days want to incorporate some rituals and traditions into their wedding. Though the intention of most brides is to create a celebratory mood rather than adhere to superstitions, we believe it’s so much more enjoyable for friends, and it will also please the parents. Dennis Yap, once again, done a great job capturing the day in photos for us. BabysBreath Décor Design: “Both Carmen and Jerry wanted something traditional with a fun and modern twist. Both the houses were decorated with lots of red lanterns on carved wooden stands and other decorations. Some Chinese offerings were placed on the bed in the newlyweds’ new…

    Vintage Garden Wedding At Saujana

We understand it is not easy to juggle work and wedding planning, all the more so if you are many miles away from home. Bee Fong and Eu-Wing are both doctors based in the UK, and for them to have a wedding back here in Kuala Lumpur is definitely not an easy task. Thanks to Bee Fong’s sister and their wedding planner, however, the couple got to chill and cherish the moment with their loved ones. What a lovely garden wedding setup, generously filled with flowers and pretty details. The gorgeous arch beneath the tree, the cute little flowergirls who graced the aisle before the bride walked in… This is…
