An All-White Nautical Themed Yacht Wedding in Manila Bay

The ongoing pandemic has meant that couples have had to get creative with their wedding planning, whether it was eloping, postponing, or simply keeping things really intimate. These newlyweds went one step further, tying the knot on a yacht! Now that’s a pandemic wedding for the photo albums. As a wedding venue, the yacht ticked all the right boxes, from keeping the guests safely distanced from crowds to, of course, being downright gorgeous. Thanks to ProudRad for these blissfully romantic wedding photos! Josh: “Our wedding planning was actually rushed, as we had originally planned to get married in Bali in January 2021. Due to unforeseen circumstances and the pandemic, we…

A Stylish DIY Floral Wedding at Raffles Hotel, Singapore

What’s a wedding without flowers? We never want to find out, and especially not when the bride is a wedding florist herself! Linnette from Floral Magic knew right off the bat that she wanted lots of flowers, but what truly made her day special was getting to say “I do” to the love of her life, and seeing her family and friends come together for the celebration. Many thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for these photos. Linnette: “There were so many memorable moments! Both of us catching each other’s eyes at the end of the aisle, my niece hijacking my sister’s speech with a song because she wanted to perform,…

A Bright and Tropical Intimate Backyard Garden Wedding

What a dream to be able to get married in your own home! For this couple, the bride’s home was full of memories, love and cosy, intimate moments, so it made sense to have their solemnisation ceremony there, especially since they would be moving out soon. We love the pops of colour – the bright and joyful reds, oranges and yellows – and the Balinese inspiration that went so well with the lush tropical vibe. Everything came together with so much love. Many thanks to Present On Pixels for capturing these beautiful wedding shots. Eelaine: “We forgot the rings! Luckily, it was in my bedroom, which was right upstairs. Dennis…

A Rustic, Mermaid-Inspired Beach Wedding in Ho Tram, Vietnam

This wedding was all about the details and textures. What more is there to add, really, when you have a beach like this? Keeping to a colour palette of tan, nude and other neutral hues, the newlyweds ensured that their beach theme took centre stage. The bride even got to live out her fantasy of being a mermaid with a seashell halo crown! Many thanks to Hipster Wedding for capturing all the thoughtful elements that made this beautiful wedding. Chris: “My most memorable moment was when Thu walked out onto the aisle looking stunning. Standing on the beach with the sun going down, taking photos as a newly married couple…

Refreshing and Gorgeous Wedding at Rama V Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur

We can’t help but smile going through this gorgeous album. The wedding was supposed to have been held in the outdoor area of the Rama V Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur, but alas, it started to pour just half an hour before the ceremony – just as the couple arrived! We love how undeterred they were, putting their best foot forward and bringing their wedding indoors. Our thanks to Louis Gan Photography for these brilliant captures, and Little Once Deco and Witchwood The Florist for the lovely décor!

Indoor Wedding with Bohemian Touches at Glasshouse at Seputeh

What an amazing ambience this couple achieved at Glasshouse at Seputeh! It had the cosiness of an indoor wedding with the bonus of a well-crafted outdoor feel. Thank you for the lovely shots, Chong Yee Photography. The newlyweds set out to put together a bohemian themed wedding, was made possible by Pax Floral and Signature Moments. They opted for neutral colours, as they did not want anything too bright, and decided on Glasshouse at Seputeh as their venue.

Casually Artsy Yet Joyful Bridal Portraits At Encore Malacca

At first glance, the artsy structure that sets the background for these bridal portraits make you wonder if they were taken at the Louvre or a Scandinavian museum… but it’s actually a performance arts theatre in Malacca! While Pantai Klebang has certainly made a name for itself as the place to go for dreamy desert-themed bridal photos, we love that this couple and their photographer stopped by Encore Malacca as well. The couple’s curiosity and adventure were well captured, all while keeping the vibe playful and thoughtful at the same time. Irene Yap of Irene Yap Photography: “This is the first engagement shoot I’ve done in my home country, Malaysia.…

An Unconventional Rustic and Black Wedding at Sekeping Jugra

When life as we knew it stopped for so many of us in lockdown, those who had planned to get married during this time were met with uncertainty – to postpone or cancel all together? And if they postponed their wedding, until when? For this couple, as soon as the Malaysian government gave the green light, everything was quickly put in motion for a cosy, intimate wedding. No matter that it wasn’t the big soiree that they had originally intended, the most important people were there and that was all that mattered. Many thanks to Trees On The Moon for capturing this beautiful wedding.

A Rustic Chic Burgundy Outdoor Wedding in Janda Baik

You can’t go wrong with a rustic chic theme when the venue is Tanarimba at Janda Baik. The beautiful surroundings, wooden columns and lush greenery are more than enough, and all you need is a rich pop of colour. For these newlyweds, it took the form of burgundy floral elements. The bride looked stunning in her bridal gowns, especially the long-sleeved, short-skirted dress. Of course, what brought it all together was the vibrant joy at the celebration – thank you, The Wedding Barn Gallery, for these photos!

Instagram-Live Courthouse Wedding in Brunei in The Midst of Covid-19

As our lives became more strictly controlled due to the uncertainties around Covid-19, it was soon clear that most weddings in the first half of 2020 would have to be postponed. Sure, you could still get married, but you wouldn’t be able to have a reception. These newlyweds could only have their witnesses with them on the day they registered their marriage at the Brunei High Court, and since they couldn’t bring their party with them, they celebrated with everyone online – via Instagram! An added bonus? Some of their friends who initially weren’t able to attend due to distance got to witness their special day! Weiting: “We had booked…
