A Stylish Yet Simple Poolside Wedding Done Right

We love the minimalist yet stylish approach this couple took for their wedding. They chose to have an outdoor poolside ceremony, with sweeping views of the city. Very minimal décor was needed for the ceremony space, and only some artificial flowers were incorporated for the dinner reception. Have a look at the photos and see if you can tell the difference! Thanks to Fabulous Moments for sending this to us.

A Tea Party Wedding at Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Keeping things classy and comfortable, this couple made sure that they would get the chance to spend quality time with their guests – by throwing a “majestic tea party”! The Majestic Hotel’s Orchid Conservatory is stunning, both for a party (to be surrounded by such beautiful flowers!) and for photographs (all that natural light!). The afternoon tea set also perfectly complemented the tea party wedding celebration. Thanks to Hong of Fabulous Moments for this breathtakingly beautiful set of photos. Ai-Leen: “Every little bit was memorable; however, we were touched that friends and family flew in from around the world to be there with us to celebrate our wedding. Being surrounded…

A Beautiful Garden Wedding At Cove55

We are truly in love with this place, so thanks, Fabulous Moments, for sharing this set with us. Angel: “We just wanted a simple, happy, heartwarming and touching wedding. The most meaningful part of the wedding was when we exchanged vows. Just a tip for brides to be out there: remember to delegate the tasks well so you can totally enjoy the day.” ANGEL & JASON {Malaysia} Photography by Hong of Fabulous Moments / Videography by The Filmmakers Company / Venue Lot 10…

    Denim and Khakis

Weddings like this one that break out of the conventional box put a smile on our faces. They had us right from the start, when she turned up in a tulle skirt and denim jacket. We love the modern minimalist set of stationery and posters that were set up with a hint of rustic, and with baby’s breath and soft pink hydrangeas. Thanks, Fabulous Moments, for sharing such a cool party with us. One of this bride’s tips was “be yourself”, because she certainly was! Among the unforgettable highlights from the day was this travel video that was shot in Taiwan, Korean and Thailand, edited by the groom himself. A…

    Embracing Traditions

Since the couple would be using the Baba House Melaka for the tea ceremony, the bridesmaids were game enough to dress up in colourful Baba-Nyonya kebaya embroidered with beautiful motifs, which truly set the right tone for the venue. Thanks, Fabulous Moments, for sharing this set with us.

One thing led to another, and he eventually became a qualified licentiate of Wedding & Portrait Photographers of Asia (WPPA). A self-professed wedding photojournalist, he loves to tell stories through the photographs he captures, and takes the time to understand each couple he works with – how they met, how they fell in love, etc. – before planning shots that will capture something that is unique to the couple themselves. >
