Elegant and Intimate Traditional Indian Wedding at Glasshouse at Seputeh and the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

We just love it when couples know how to have a fabulous time. This couple living in the United Kingdom sought an intimate wedding celebration in Kuala Lumpur. They had their traditional ceremony at Glasshouse at Seputeh, the perfect venue for an indoor garden wedding, followed by a reception at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, which suitably catered to the blissful couple’s 200 guests from around the world. Thank you for this brilliant album, Peter Herman Photography! The beautiful bride reminds us of the reasons we love flowers. Her penchant for choosing soft, pastel-toned flowers meant the wedding ballroom was adorned with a remarkable display of blooms. Working with their…

Conceptual Bridal Portraits: The Pilot And The Tailor

Sometimes you simply can’t put into words how much your love story takes your breath away, so these newlyweds took their bridal portraits and had them made into a movie. Using different photographs, this combination of cinematography and photography (adorably called “cinephotography”) took storytelling and bridal portraits to an inimitable space. The level of detail applied to the styling and costumes perfectly complemented the love these newlyweds have for each other. Watch: “The Pilot & The Tailor”, starring Jocelyn and Louis. A Glamorous White And Purple Wedding At The Majestic Hotel

With the theme of purple romance, this wedding dinner in the fabled Majestic Hotel is a visual fairytale of dreamy florals and glowing candlelight. Various shades of purple were used throughout, accented by soft whites, pale pinks and glittering gold. With elegant candlesticks and gleaming crystal hangings to round things out, the whole atmosphere was one of romantic softness through and through. One standout feature that we loved in particular were the Viking table arrangements on each side of the aisle. This allowed for the very effective use of vertical centrepieces, which lead the eye in an unbroken line to the focal point of the whole hall — the main…

Pink And Brown Baskin-Robbins Themed Wedding

No one ever complains about an ice cream party, but this is so much more than just another good idea. There’s a story behind it, one that we’ll let the bride Charmaine share with you. We adore her Celest Thoi dress and those adorable flowergirl outfits. The simple white flowers against the rustic brown and blush pink shades look gorgeous too! Thanks for the photos, Arch & Vow Studio! Charmaine: “As my family is the master franchiser of Baskin Robbins, I literally grew up with the brand, and my husband used to call me ‘Baskin-Robbins’ instead of my name before we began dating. Pink and brown are the theme colours…

A Contemporary White Wedding With A Runway Platform

If ever there was a day where you deserve to walk down a runway and not feel embarrassed about it, your wedding day is it. You deserve the limelight, and that wedding dress that you splurged on definitely deserves to be seen. We love the modern all white décor with a hint of pink, which goes so well with the white chairs. Thanks for sending this over, Louis Loo of Deviews Production.

A Glamorous Affair In The Ritz-Carlton And The Majestic Hotel, KL

This was a two-day event starting with a simple ceremony and lunch reception at The Ritz Carlton, followed by a beautiful dinner reception at The Majestic Hotel. Both these hotels have that colonial interior that is actually quite hard not to love. The interesting thing about this wedding, which was carefully planned by My Wedding Planner, was that there was no colour theme. Instead, Wishing Tree created lighthearted, beautiful floral arrangements with light pastel blooms. Thanks, Adam Ong, for capturing this beautiful wedding in photos.

A Simple Beach Wedding At Four Seasons Koh Samui

The key to planning a destination wedding is to hire a wedding planner whom you trust and leave everything to them. Also, make sure you have a good wedding photographer so that the beautiful venue and special moments are all captured. In this instance, both Hanngevent and Stories by Integricity did an awesome job. We can almost feel the stress this couple went through to put this together, but look how beautiful everything turned out to be.

    The Perfect Wedding Gift

Wondering what to give your best friend for their wedding? This is by far one of the best ideas we have ever seen. Thanks, Filming Art, for allowing us to share this beautiful story. Ceci and Edward’s Best Man and Maid of Honour bought them a bottle of wine that will be perfect in 10 years’ time. Inside the box, they also included sealed love letters that the newlyweds have written to each other, to be opened on their 10th anniversary. Like their love, the wine will only get better with time, and the letters will serve as a reminder of their love and the promises they have made to…

    Coffee-Themed Wedding At Janda Baik

About an hour away from bustling KL is Tanarimba, a lovely, lush resort nestled snugly amidst the fresh greenery and rustic pine trees of Janda Baik. Way before their relationship began, these two coffee lovers would occasionally bump into each other during their morning coffee rituals at the office. So it was no surprise for us to see coffee elements popping up in their wedding. In fact, Kimberly and Kevin had a coffee-themed wedding, where even the tables were named after types of coffee, with a short description of each. They definitely couldn’t settle for instant coffee, so they got a barista who brought an espresso machine all the way…
