A Modern Blue-Grey Cliffside Wedding in Bali

Florals and bright colours might seem like a no-brainer for a Bali wedding, but these newlyweds had other plans. Opting for slate blue and grey tones combined with lush neutral floral elements, stalks of wheat and lots of greenery, they kept things classic and romantic – with a modern touch. We especially love that seashell-shaped altar, which was used for their reception backdrop as well! Many thanks to Fire, Wood & Earth for these absolutely beautiful photos.

On Nusa Penida, a small island off Bali, these newlyweds splashed in the ocean and played to their hearts’ content – with Andre Lesmana of Fire, Wood & Earth photographing away. There were sunrise shots, sunset shots, and that glamorous palm tree-lined driveway. Thank you for this set of bridal portraits! Andre: “Rinie and Christian are a super adventurous couple. Thank you for these awesome shots, Fire, Wood & Earth! Choosing to take their portraits at the famous black sand Nyanyi Beach was an easy choice, as they both enjoy the ocean immensely. It reminds them of God’s faithfulness, they say. They opted for a casual look in soft neutrals, their photographer did well to get those mirrors for the shoot.…

Beach Styled Shoot With Elegant Dried Flowers

If you fancy the idea of using dried flowers for your wedding, we say to you: do it. Pepper Suite Events, Fire, Wood & Earth, and Verena Mia fused their creative genius for this collaborative styled shoot, “Untamed”, which celebrates the spirit of being wild and free. Two décor canvases – the first bohemian and the second, a beach – lent a contrasting visual effect to the natural elements and the flowing gowns by Mia. We love the splendid ocean view all around The Asmara Nusa Dua, and the nearby semi-private beach with rocky cliffs in the background was perfect for the second styled shoot. The gowns – one a soft grey-blue tone and the other, a pale mauve – were made of layers of silk…

A Romantic Lavender Garden Wedding at Pandawa Cliff Estate, Bali

There’s something so romantic about getting married by the sea, and it’s even better if you’re up on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The bride and groom of this wedding chose to build their wedding theme around the colour lavender, punctuated with wooden accents such as rattan pendant lights, oak chairs and wooden plates. The combination of grey, green and blush pink with lavender was beautiful and effortlessly elegant. Many thanks to Fire, Wood & Earth for this absolutely gorgeous set of photos!

See their delight in each other as they twirled around, waded ankle deep through the waves, and admired the beautiful horizon before them.
